Gut Health Nutritionist in Sydney
me&my wellness is a gut health nutrition practice in Randwick, in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, led by clinical nutritionist Anthony Hartcher. Anthony helps adults with bloating, reflux, constipation, loose bowels, IBS-type symptoms and food reactions find what's actually driving their symptoms, then builds a personalised plan around their food, sleep, stress and daily routine.
Consultations are in person in Randwick or by telehealth anywhere in Australia.

Why gut health support here is different
Most gut programs treat the symptom. We look for the cause.
Root cause first
A thorough assessment of your symptoms, health history, diet and recent bloodwork, before any plan is made.
Whole person, not just food
Nutrition plus lifestyle medicine. Sleep, stress, movement and mindset are part of how your gut works, so they're part of your plan.
Works alongside your GP
If your symptoms need medical investigation, Anthony will tell you, and he's happy to collaborate with your doctor or specialist.

Still bloated, even though you're eating healthy?
You've cut gluten, tried the probiotics, maybe even done a strict elimination diet. Some days are better, but the bloating, discomfort or unpredictable bathroom trips keep coming back.
Two people with the same bloating can have completely different drivers, such as:
- how fast food moves through the gut, and fermentation of certain carbohydrates (FODMAPs)
- low stomach acid, or reflux medications that change digestion
- stress and poor sleep affecting the gut–brain axis
- eating speed, meal timing, and fibre that's too low, too high or the wrong type
- recent antibiotics, illness or travel affecting the gut microbiome
- nutrient gaps that show up in your bloodwork
Finding your driver is the whole game.
Who we help
- Adults with ongoing bloating, gas or abdominal discomfort
- People diagnosed with IBS who want a structured, personalised nutrition plan
- Reflux and indigestion that keeps coming back
- Constipation, loose bowels, or alternating between the two
- People who suspect food intolerances but don't know where to start
- Anyone whose gut symptoms are tied up with stress, anxiety, low energy or poor sleep
No 40-item banned list. You get clear, practical steps and a reintroduction path, so your diet gets broader over time, not narrower.

Gut health FAQs
What does a gut health nutritionist do?
A gut health nutritionist assesses your digestive symptoms, diet, lifestyle and health history to find what's driving issues like bloating, reflux or irregular bowels. They then build a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to settle symptoms and improve long-term gut function.
Do I need a referral to see a nutritionist in Sydney?
No. You can book directly with me&my wellness, starting with a free 15-minute clarity call.
Can gut health consultations be done by telehealth?
Yes. Most of the assessment is a detailed conversation plus a review of your history and bloodwork, so telehealth works very well. Clinical nutritionist Anthony Hartcher consults by telehealth Australia-wide, and in person in Randwick, Sydney.
Is a nutritionist the same as a dietitian?
No. Both work with food and health, but the training and professional pathways differ. Anthony's approach combines clinical nutrition with lifestyle medicine: sleep, stress, movement and mindset alongside diet.
How long does it take to improve gut symptoms?
It varies from person to person. Many clients notice meaningful changes within the first few weeks of following their plan. Longer-standing issues may need a few months of follow-up and food reintroduction.
Is the low FODMAP diet the answer for bloating?
Sometimes it's a useful short-term tool, but it isn't meant to be followed forever. Anthony uses it selectively, always with a structured reintroduction, so your diet stays as varied as possible.
When should I see a doctor instead?
See your GP promptly if you have blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, difficulty swallowing, persistent vomiting, or symptoms that wake you at night. Anthony can work alongside your medical care.
What areas do you cover?
The practice is in Randwick, close to Coogee, Kensington, Clovelly, Maroubra, Bondi and the wider Eastern Suburbs. Telehealth is available anywhere in Australia.
